Swiss passengers can obtain a temporary passport valid only for the duration of a journey.Time- 1 hour (issued on the day before departure at the earliest).Place- International Security Police (PSI) at the airport (Arrivals level), visa service.Cost- CHF 150.- payable in cash.Conditions- must be a Swiss citizen,- must apply in person when instructed,- must provide supporting travel documents and identity document,- for a temporary passport for a minor, both parents and the minor concerned must be present- photo taken on site by the PSI.For information- http://ge.ch/population/prestations/passeport-provisoire - PSI contact A temporary passport will not be issued if the passport was forgotten at home.
