Cars hired in Swiss sector
The car rental desks in Swiss sector are situated at the Arrival level, towards La Poste.
Rental car returns on the Swiss side: car park P51, lower level.
If you rent a car in Switzerland but return it to the France sector, your car rental company may charge you a fee.
Cars hired in French sector
If you have hired a car in the French sector, you can reach the French sector, even if you land in the international one.
How to proceed? At your arrival:
- collect your baggage;
- go up to the Check-in level and follow the "destination France" signs;
- go through customs (to the right of the check-in hall, next to the Air France (KLM) ticket counters.
- cross the customs (on the right of the check-in hall, near the Air France KLM desks). Attention: you necessarily have to show your contract for car hiring.
For departure, you can return your car in the French sector. For some airlines flying to countries other than France, you can check-in in the French Sector. For most airlines, however, you have to go to the Swiss side to check in. You can reach the international sector through the transit area.
