  • Annual turnover of CHF 301 million, more than half of which is generated by non-aviation business.

Opening hours of terminal T1


For security reasons, the terminal T1 is closed from 00:00 am to 04:00 am. The French sector is closed from 11:00 pm to 04:30 am. It is not allowed to stay inside during this time.

If you can not afford a night in a hotel, we suggest you to contact a youth hostel.



No smoking airport


Smoking is prohibited inside the airport buildings.

Passengers may use the smoking lounge equipped with the latest ventilation and smoke extraction technologies located in the transit area, near the 1st class/business lounges.

 



Currencies accepted at GVA


  • CHF and € for shops and car parks.
  • CHF, €, £ and $ in the restaurants.



Airport guided tours


It is possible to visit the Airport provided there is a group of at least 15 people (maximum 30). Visits are arranged as follows: screening of a film on the Airport’s activities, bus tour on the tarmac, visit to the security service barracks (minimum age: 10 years).

Hiring of conference/meeting rooms


The Altitude - located on the top floor of the Airport - has 7 fully flexible conference rooms equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual technology, with a sensational view over the apron and the Jura Mountains.



T3 Business Aviation Terminal


Terminal T3 (business aviation) is located at 20 chemin des Papillons, near the route de Meyrin.
To get there by public transport, take the 28 bus to the "Blandonnet" bus stop.

We do not send GVA advertising objects such as pens, key ring, etc.
