Figures are temporary data, several checks still need to be done. However, the error towards the definitive figures is generally lower than +/-1%.

  • Annual net profit of about CHF 50 million.

  • Annual turnover of more than CHF 320 million, about half of which is generated by commercial receipts and about half by aeronautical revenues.

  • An investment programme of more than CHF 51 million as part of the overall master plan through 2007-2015.

  • 55 scheduled airlines operating more than 1'000 departures a week and some hundred charter airlines.

  • Catchment area straddling three countries (Switzerland, France and Italy), with a population of 6 million living within 2 hours of the airport.

  • Multi-modal transport system with integrated railway station (150 trains per day), access to the Swiss and French motorway network, plus parking for over 4'500 vehicles.

  • Shopping centre with 80 stores and services open 7 days a week.

  • More than 8'500 jobs on-site spread across 150 companies and organisations.

  • Overall impact of 24'000 jobs generated and total contribution of CHF 120 million to the State between 2006 and 2010.
